Last year we had a number of conversations with our community about strategy and operations, exploring questions such as
- “Are you afraid your funding efforts aren’t generating enough revenue?”
- “Can you rely on your board for support?”
- “What type of new leadership can elevate our mission?”
What we uncovered in these conversations helped well over two dozen organizations create a stronger strategy for growth, expand their community, and recruit new leadership this past year!
The end of the year is always a great time to do this. With over 10-12 weeks still on the calendar, and with your community in the giving spirit, you can leverage the natural philanthropic emotion of the season and gain new donors, increase donor giving, add to your volunteer roles, and engage new board or committee members.
Often there are little things that can be done before Dec 31 to improve on your year-end results without too much of an impact on your resources. It’s also a great time to look at setting up for strategy, program design, and personnel changes for the coming New Year.
If, like us, you believe that nonprofits deserve more attention, more funding, and more productive guidance and support, then let’s get together for a quick review and establish your vision for closing out this year and leaning strongly into 2022!
