“Stick to Your Own Knitting.” Just as your organization must have a strategic plan
to ensure your team is all facing and moving toward the same goals, so must your
board have their OWN Strategic Plan for their governance and operations. In this
training we will take the framework developed in training A and explore how to
introduce, educate, encourage, support, and hold accountable the board in
developing their own Strategic Plan so they can be productive in advocating for
and allying with your organizational work, but not be involved in managing it.
