Harvest Development Group Recruits Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective’s Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective recently named David A. Grant as  their  Executive Director effective July 1, 2023. 

Grant served as Special Assistant to the Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent of Hartford Public Schools, was Chief Administrative Officer for the Hartford Court of Common Council, and Executive Assistant and LGBTQ+ Liaison for Hartford. He served as President of the Board of Directors for the Lavender Policy Center, President of the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Chamber Foundation, and Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of New Britain. As a community volunteer, Grant served on grant committees for the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, and the Hartford Greater Together Advisory Fund supported by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.  He earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Connecticut and certificates in Human Rights, Special Events Management, and LGBT Studies.

Along with the board and dedicated team members, I look forward to building upon its legacy to expand progressive and innovate services to reach even more members of the community.
