Harvest Development Group managed the recruitment search for ERfC, Educational Resources for Children located in Enfield, Connecticut, for their new Executive Director. Through our collaborative approach to recruitment, ERfC’s Transition Team named Josue Irizarry as their new Executive Director.
“Josue’s experience as a nonprofit leader complements the mission and vision of ERfC,” shared Carole Schloss, Board Chair of ERfC. Irizarry served as Youth and Family Director at the YMCA New Britain/Berlin, an events coordinator at the Peabody Museum in New Haven, Connecticut, and later as the Executive Director and Compliance Manager at the YMCA branches of Greater Hartford. An active community volunteer, Josue served on various committees at the Board of Directors of Opportunities Industrialization Center, YMCA of Greater Hartford Global Initiative, Wethersfield Early Childhood Collaborative and West Hartford Juvenile Review Board.
Since 1994, ERfC, a community-based non-profit organization, provides innovative out-of-school time activities for Enfield children and their families. ERfC operates Before & After School Centers in Enfield Public Schools, Afterschool Adventures, Vacation Destination, Summer Lunch Bunch, and Summer Escape Camp. All programs are designed for students in grades K-8.
Harvest Development Group’s recruitment process is one that is built upon best practices and collaboration with our clients. “We thank Harvest Development Group for their guidance throughout the recruitment process and presenting a great candidate for our organization”, shared Schloss.
Congratulations to Josue Irizarry and the ERfC Board and Staff. Welcome to the Harvest Development Group community!
