The Board of Directors for Educational Resources for Children, Inc. (ERfC) is pleased to announce David Kiner as its new Executive Director. Kiner, a resident of Somers, CT., with close community ties to Enfield will begin his role on May 4, 2026.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors and dedicated ERfC staff, we look
forward to working with David to advance our strategic objectives and expand our programming to surrounding communities. David’s experience as a community leader and former board member are assets in achieving these
goals,” said Board Chair, Michael Green.
The Board of Directors worked to identify an accomplished non-profit administrator with a
collaborative spirit and executive experience to partner with the board, the very talented and dedicated staff, as well as civic and business leaders in the community.
Kiner previously served on ERfC’s Board of Directors and as a member of the Enfield Town Council and later a State Representative representing Enfield and East Windsor. Throughout his career, Kiner has been a strong advocate of education and policies affecting schools
and after-school programming. “ERfC has long been a cornerstone of Enfield’s support system for children and families. It is a privilege to lead an organization I know so well and care about so deeply,” shared Kiner.
ERfC is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high-quality,
enriching programs that support children’s academic, social, and emotional growth beyond
the school day.
Since 1994, ERfC has been a truncated partner for families, educators, and the Enfield
community, offering Before & After School programs, summer enrichment, and family
support services.
